Enrico Fermi wasn’t the last physicist who was both an experimental
and theoretical genius, but Professor Gail Hoff will never receive the Nobel
Prize. She wants to travel through time but discovers she can only go
forward. She goes time-traveling through several universes of the
multiverse, never to return to her little lab outside Philly. Jeff Langley,
her jack-of-all-trades electronics wizard, accompanies her.

Their escapades, both amorous and adventurous, make this sci-fi rom-com a
far-out road-trip story filled with dystopian and post-apocalyptic
situations, first encounter, robots and androids—all that and more
await the reader who rides along.

Beyond the Moon by Catherine Taylor – Five Star Review!

51058582._SX318_SY475_

Wow, where do I even begin with this one? The story starts right in the middle of the action, so we’re immediately swept into the thick of things. At first, it isn’t obvious how the story is going to play out. The tale is told through two character POVs and the shifts from one to the other are seamless.

From the beginning to the end, I didn’t want to put the book down. I just had to know what was going to happen, as I gripped the edge of my seat and read on furiously. The smallest details are taken care of, so you really feel transported into the character’s worlds.

The romance isn’t your normal time travel. I feel there was a good dose of science fiction and religious ideology entwined with the time travel narrative. I loved how everything was described and panned out. Although the book ends with a bit of mystery left, it’s an ending I quite enjoyed. I really can’t rave about this book enough and highly recommend you grab yourself a copy. If you enjoy romance, time travel, war novels, or – dare I say – science fiction and fantasy, you will love this book.

Between Two Evils Book Tour & Giveaway!!

Crossing in Time
Between Two Evils Book 1
by D.L. Orton
Genre: Action-Adventure, Dystopian, Time Travel, Love Story
The past isn’t over, it’s an opening. The future isn’t hidden, it’s a trap.
If she ever wants to see him again, she’ll have to take the risk…
Publishers Weekly Starred Review: “Funny, Romantic & Harrowing!”
When offered a one-way trip to the past, Iz sacrifices everything for a chance to change her dystopian future—and see her murdered lover one last time.
After a perilous journey through a black hole, she wakes up on a tropical beach, buck naked and mortally wounded—but twenty years younger! With only hours to live, she must convince an enraptured but skeptical twenty-something guy to fix their future relationship and thereby save the planet (no one is quite sure why.)
But it’s easier said than done, as success means losing him to a brainy, smart-mouthed bombshell (her younger self), and that’s a heartbreaker, save the world or not.
Across the infinite expanse of space and time, love endures…
(Unfortunately, it’s not going to be enough.)
FALL INTO THIS EDGY, action-packed, darkly comedic, dystopian love story, and be prepared to encounter a finicky time machine, a mysterious seashell, and a very clever dog (some sex, some swearing, some violence, but no vampires and absolutely no ditzes.)
Content Warning!
This book contains material that may be disturbing to some, and in movie form, would be rated NC-17 for strong language, nudity, sexual situations, and violence (including attempted sexual assault, abduction, intense danger, miscarriage, confinement, a pandemic, religious fanaticism (Christian), government malevolence, and death).

Soul of the Wolf
The Novels of Ravenwood Book 2
A Norman loyalist, Lady Jocelyn bristles when ordered to marry Wulfstan, a Saxon sorcerer. She nurses a painful secret and would rather bathe in a cesspit than be pawed by such a man…until her lifelong dream of motherhood rears its head.
A man of magic and mystery, Wulfstan has no time for wedded bliss. He fears that consummating their marriage will bind their souls and wrench his focus from the ancient riddle his dying mother begged him to solve. He’s a lone wolf, salving old wounds with endless work. But Jocelyn stirs him as no woman ever has.
Their attraction is undeniable. Their fates are intertwined. Together, they must face their demons and bring light to a troubled land.
Flight of the Raven
The Novels of Ravenwood Book 1

Lady Emma of Ravenwood Keep is prepared to give Sir William l’Orage land, wealth, and her hand in marriage. But her virginity? Not unless he loves her. The curse that claimed her mother is clear: unless a Ravenwood heir is conceived in love, the mother will die in childbirth. Emma is determined to dodge the curse. Then William arrives, brandishing raw sensuality which dares her to explore her own.
William the Storm isn’t a man to be gainsaid. He’ll give her protection, loyalty, and as much tenderness as he can muster. But malignant memories quell the mere thought of love. To him, the curse is codswallop. He plans a seduction to breach Emma’s fears and raze her objections. What follows is a test of wills and an affirmation of the power of love.

King Arthur’s Sister in Washington’s Court
by Kim Iverson Headlee
Genre: SciFi Time Travel Fantasy
How sick are you of US politics? How doomed is the world because of who has claimed the Oval Office throne—er, chair?
Refresh your spirit by laughing along with what Mark Twain might have written about today’s political falderal.
“Solidly entertaining.” —Publishers Weekly
WINNER 2016 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Gold Medal for Science Fiction & Fantasy.
Morgan le Fay, sixth-century Queen of Gore and the only major character not killed off by Mark Twain in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, vows revenge upon the Yankee Hank Morgan. She casts a spell to take her to 1879 Connecticut so she may waylay Sir Boss before he can travel back in time to destroy her world. But the spell misses by 300 miles and 200 years, landing her in the Washington, D.C., of 2079, replete with flying limousines, hovering office buildings, virtual-reality television, and sundry other technological marvels.
Whatever is a time-displaced queen of magic and minions to do? Why, rebuild her kingdom, of course—two kingdoms, in fact: as Campaign Boss for the reelection of American President Malory Beckham Hinton, and as owner of the London Knights world-champion baseball franchise.
Written as though by the old master himself, King Arthur’s Sister in Washington’s Court by Mark Twain as channeled by Kim Iverson Headlee offers laughs, love, and a candid look at American society, popular culture, politics, baseball… and the human heart.
Mark Twain began work on A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court in 1879—the same year the Yankee Hank Morgan departed for his sojourn in sixth-century Britain. The first edition was published in 1889 and features more than 200 illustrations by the man who later would become founder of the Boy Scouts of America, Daniel Carter Beard. These illustrations are now in the public domain, and a handful have been incorporated into King Arthur’s Sister in Washington’s Court as an artistic homage to this classic edition of the first time travel story in all literature.

Kim has been a published novelist since 1999 with the first edition of Dawnflight (Sonnet Books, Simon & Schuster) and has been studying the Arthurian legends for nigh on half a century.

The Journey, by John A. Heldt- Four Stars

41R4UNdOmGL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-click,TopRight,35,-76_AA278_PIkin4,BottomRight,-52,22_AA300_SH20_OU01_♥♥♥♥

‘The Journey’ was, for the most part, a fantastic read. It was well thought out, engaging, and the characters were extremely realistic. I think the latter is the reason I have to admit I did not, at all, like the ending. Okay, that’s a little harsh. No, I did like part of the ending. I liked the happy part. I liked that Shelly, Brian, and April were able to live better, more fulfilling lives as a result of the whole situation. But I did not like the ending for Michelle. I felt as though it were heart breaking, and not in a good way. I like a good sob as well as anyone else, but truth be told, I disliked that my hopes and expectations got up that she had her second chance in her second life, just for something bad to happen to her in the end. I also felt it was just too abrupt an ending.

Besides my qualms with the ending, the story was fantastic. John A. Heldt is a marvelous writer with a ton of ingenuity, raw skill, and an almost shocking attention to detail (which is my all time favorite attribute in an author). I read ‘The Mine’ also and must admit I am in love with his writings. I love a good historical read, and a time travel novel is even better (when written properly). I just wish the ending for ‘The Journey’ had been a little more like the shock-and-awe-happiness I experienced with ‘The Mine.’ Life is not always that way, however, and despite all that I have said about the ending, I can appreciate the genius with which Mr. Heldt was able to give his readers a realistic ending mixed with a fairy tale happy one.
