Gold Dragon by Lindsay Buroker (Heritage of Power, #5) – 4 Star Review!

This final book in the Heritage of Power series wrapped up a lot of loose ends I was worried wouldn’t end up resolved! Beautifully done story by Buroker, as usual. There was plenty of action, fantastic fight scenes, and amazing descriptions so I felt almost as if I flew on the back of a dragon myself. The romance budded along perfectly, and I really loved how dynamic the characters were – how they changed and evolved over time, to culminate in nearly entirely different characters by the end (but as a good thing)!

The cover is eye-catching and gives readers an accurate description of what to expect when they read the book.

Unraveled by Lindsay Buroker (Heritage of Power Series, #4) – 4 Star Review!

This fourth volume of The Heritage of Power series was full of action – and definitely a lot of intrigue. It kept me guessing the entire time, wondering things like what was going to happen with Trip’s sire’s legacy, what weird enemies awaited them around the next corner, and when things were going to heat up again between Trip and Rysha.

The only reason the book didn’t get a five star review because there were two parts where I had push myself to keep reading. The effort was wholly worthwhile, however, because the book quickly drew me back in. I’m eager to find out what might happen in the fifth book, since I felt the fourth could have wrapped the story up. I’m sure the next volume will be just as fantastic as everything else by Buroker.

The cover is eye-catching and gives an accurate description of what readers should expect from the story. It also fits well with the previous covers in the Heritage of Power series.

Wow… just wow. This book definitely threw a lot of surprises my way and did not go any way like I imagined it to… but I really love a book that can keep me guessing. Full of action, adventure, and intrigue, Buroker has done it again with this third volume of The Heritage of Power series.

Also, love the dynamics between Rysha and Trip in this one. You’re constantly wondering if they’ll be together or they won’t, then they are, but they aren’t, and then they definitely are. Like I said, a lot of surprises in this one.

The cover is eye-catching and gives an accurate portrayal of what readers might find inside the pages.

Revelations by Lindsay Buroker (Heritage of Power, #2) – 5 Star Review!

Wow, this book had a lot of tension and a lot of action. The book kept me up late and made me want to avoid work just so I could finish it. (I did end up finishing the entire book in about a day.) The quest offers plenty of road blocks and the fighting scenes that accompany it, with each fighting sequence being unique and exciting enough the reader won’t grow bored.

There is an increase in tension between Trip and Rysha – and just when you think they might finally get together (several times through the book), they don’t. I enjoyed both of their internal struggles, which helped push the external story forward.

The cover is eye-catching and gives readers an accurate depiction of what the story holds.

Dragon Storm by Lindsay Buroker (Heritage of Power Series, #1) – 4 Star Review!

I fell in love with Lindsay Buroker after reading her Agents of the Crown series, and decided to follow up with another series – and Heritage of Power looked to be the most interesting. That being said, I found the beginning of the book hard to get into. I put it down a few times so I could push myself to move on. I’m very glad I did.

Although the beginning of the book is a bit dull, the rest is action-packed. The characters are realistic and I love their names! Buroker has quite the talent for creating unique, whimsical names that seem to fit her characters perfectly. I love Rysha. She’s an athletic, tomboy book nerd who adds a bit of “heart” to her logic. Trip is a kind of goofy oddball who just doesn’t fit in – something I totally relate to!

There is considerable sexual tension and internal conflict intertwined with the external overlying plot. All in all, this was a good start to what I hope is another amazing series by Buroker. Definitely recommend and suggest pushing past the first half-chapter or so to get to the good stuff!

The cover is moderately eye-catching and accurately portrays what the reader should expect to happen in the book. I feel the characters portrayed are more or less what I expect them to look like, although I imagined Trip slightly different.

Dragon Tear by Lindsay Buroker (Agents of the Crown, #5) – 5 Star Review!!

Cover: A+

Okay, this book kept me up all night reading and I highly suggest it to everyone. If there was a six star rating, I’d use it. Zenia and Jev are finally together and I just couldn’t be happier. And the dragon? Awesome! The story kept me absolutely enthralled. Dragon Tear was jam-packed with both romance and adventure. It included everything I love in a book and introduced new side characters that were realistic.

The cover was great. It fit the series well, but it’s brighter – giving the idea that better things happen in this final installment. It definitely draws the attention right away, and I can think of no ways it needs improvement.

Elven Fury by Lindsay Buroker (Agents of the Crown, #4) – 5 Star Review!

So, in the fourth volume things heat up some ridiculously evil elves show up and want to kill off Lornysh – an elf that Jev made friends with in the army. Lornysh also becomes a more prominent character and I just absolutely love him. True, he’s probably not meant to be a swoon-worthy character, but I have a thing for elves so there’s that.

Jev and Zenia are once again pushing closer together as a romantic couple, but they still have major obstacles to overcome. Zenia is still kind of reluctant, as she’s proven to be stubborn throughout the previous books. (Stubbornness is something I can totally relate to!) She’s giving in a little at a time, and Jev is pushing for it with everything he’s got.

The cover was exactly what I’d come to expect from the Agents of the Crown series. It drew my attention and accurately depicted what happens in the book.

Duty Bound by Lindsay Buroker (Agents of the Crown, #3) – 5 Star Review!!!

So, this is where the series gets really good. The third volume of the Agents of Crown series is action-packed and starts bringing together some of the foundation-building from the first (and second) volumes. Both Zenia and Jev prove themselves to be dynamic characters as they start to learn and grown together. They also prove to be quite the formidable match when they work together to get things figured out. Bad guys don’t stand a chance?

The romance plot really starts to thicken in the third book, too, and there were a few swoon-worthy moments. I kept rooting for Zenia and Jev to get together, despite all the odds in their way!

The cover fits the series well, draws the eye’s attention, and accurately portrays what the reader should expect when they start reading.

Blood Ties by Lindsay Buroker (Agents of the Crown, #2) – 4 Star Review!

I’m so glad I pushed through the first volume to reach the second. Both the romantic plot and the fantasy adventure side became much more intense, and I started slowly falling in absolute love with both Jev and Zenia. The cast of side characters become significantly more realistic in this book, and definitely added to my overall enjoyment.

The cover art was great. Realistically gave me an idea of what to expect when I read the story, and was very eye-catching. It also fit cohesively with the series and what I came to expect from the first volume.
