I’ve really fallen in love with the way Sarah Storme writes, and The Long Way Home did not disappoint. The story pulled me in from the very beginning, and I was kept enthralled. Between romantic scenes, there is a lot of action – and the ending is incredible.
The characters are very likable. Allie is a wonderful combination between unsure, submissive, sassy, and dominate all rolled into a single, realistic woman. She’s young and inexperienced, but has all the drive she needs to get stuff done. Sam? He’s a swoon-worthy man that I wish I’d meet in my day-to-day (haha). He’s smart, attractive, but intricately flawed in such a way as to seem realistic.
The cover moderately drew my attention, and accurately portrays what a reader should expect when opening the book. I especially love the color scheme.
