The book wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, and at first, I was hesitant. It seemed s though it would be yet another one of those corny, over-rated children’s books that all parents are well accustomed to. This was not the way it ended up turning out for us, however The story ended up being very cute, and the way it was presented turned out to be highly appealing to my three year old. She enjoyed the story because she also has a goldfish, and she thought it was ‘neat’ to know what the goldfish was thinking/feeling, although she didn’t quite word it that way. For my own personal reasons, I would have given this book three stars- it didn’t impress me, but I didn’t hate it either. I give it a four star because of how much my daughter enjoyed it, and being a children’s book, her opinion is the one that is most important.
